Aseb Mokonen was born in Hamburg in 1987 and grew up in the Hanseatic city. However, her roots are in Ethiopia, which had a decisive influence on her cultural identity and artistic expressiveness.
From 2007 to 2010, she completed her acting training at the Hamburg School of Drama. During this time, she gained her first stage experience and deepened her passion for the performing arts.
After graduating, Aseb Mokonen appeared in various theater productions, including plays such as 2011 “The Jungle Book” (2013) “The Little Muck”
In addition to her work as an actress, she also performed on stage as a singer under the direction of renowned vocal coach David Lee Brewer (2009), at the Neue Flora in Hamburg and at the Amphitheater in Antalya Belek, Turkey.
