WIFT-At's 13th annual Making Waves conference returns March 24 and 25 in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia and so does one of our marquee events: The CBC Pitch competition.

Five filmmakers will be selected to pitch their idea for a short film (15 minutes or less) to a jury of industry experts who will choose one winner of $5,000 toward the production of the film courtesy of CBC.

Rules & Terms

The competition is open to WIFT-AT members (join or renew at wift-at.com) who are women or gender-diverse and from underrepresented groups: Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, and racialized people.
