Makesi Algernon “MAKASI” is a Graduate of UTT APA with over a decade of Experience in carnival and community game development. As a technical developer Maskasi as skilled in web 3 development, technical theatre and Game design. As an artist his major styles of expression are Light painting, Stop-motion Animation, Music and various cultures of Play, in mas traditions, tribal and many others. His passion for the arts sets him a cut above the rest when it comes to culture. His dream is to develop a carnival Game world hub experience that builds on the joy of adventuring and leveling up in festive and cultures. Makesi Found several Game and art development companies Such as Scraphill Studios, Coded -Arts, ESCL, 60 fps bar and gaming lounge to name a few. He worked alongside and was mentored by some of the great carnival legends of his time such as, Dr Eintou Pearl Springer, Tony Hall, Sonja Dumas, Wendell Manwarren and the Cut and Clear Crew, Freetown Collective and the list goes on.
Makasi hopes that one day Games can be recognized in culture and arts as a vital part of not only education but growth and development in all walks of life. From adolescence to elderly, we all love to play, and through play one can discover not only themselves, but may heal, love laugh and dream for brighter days and brighter future
