Make Space To Dance
In Make Space to Dance, a 63-year-old retired professor is confronted with a devastating diagnosis, his failing heart means he will never dance again. But instead of succumbing to fate, he embarks on an extraordinary final journey, determined to reclaim one last dance where gravity can no longer hold him back. Refusing to be confined by illness or the limitations of Earth, he ventures into space, seeking the ultimate freedom of movement. As he floats weightlessly in the cosmos, his past, present, and future merge into a celestial waltz, one that defies time, illness, and even death itself. Blending AI-generated visuals, experimental animation, and lyrical storytelling, the film explores motion as both a physical act and an existential statement. Make Space to Dance is a deeply reflective yet visually stunning meditation on human resilience, the art of movement, and the boundless dance of life itself.

This is Professor, Terry Martin Mace's first ever Ai film. He hopes it won't be his last, literally! Diagnosed with a terminal illness the Professor decided to retire from lecturing, teaching and training to spend the rest of his time prior to death's eternal sleep, in both revisiting as well as learning new and old skills again gained over a 50+ period of creative self expression that has been the foundation of his life. Trained as a Existential Philosopher, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Psychoanalyst and as an Executive Business Coach and Consultant, Terry has always been using his Autistic as well as artistic skills, talents and abilities. If he has one solid skill and resource in his creative tool box at 63 years of age is that he knows people better than they know themselves. Translating this into film, animation and puppetry is the Professor's ongoing challenge and adventure. Long may it continue...
