Mahol Miyaan

"Mahol Miyaan" which roughly translates to the word "feel" in English, also sometimes known as vibe, mood, ambience, aura, environment etc. Mahol is important, arguably the foundation of human civilization. Where would the idea of having a party be? If our minds were incapable of comprehending the importance of Mahol. And what party is bigger than the ritualistic soul bonding of two individuals?

So, that is what we did. We made a film on this ritualistic soul bonding in a Mahol that vibed with us very well. Rest, we think the film shall speak for itself.

Director Biography - Mayank Bhutoria

Mayank Bhutoria is a filmmaker from Kolkata, India. He has been involved with cinema since school, and his films have been screened at various film festivals across the world. He did his Diploma in Digital Video Production at Srishti School of Art, Design & Technology, Bangalore; where he started a filmmaking collective called "Srishti Film Forum," which now has over 500 members. He has made a plethora of films that range from documentaries to shorts that span genres such as drama, comedy, and biographical. He was instrumental in the setup and running of a maker's space called "MakersLoft," where he worked on art installations, product prototyping, and space design using technologies like 3D Printing and Laser Cutting. He is currently running a Film Production Company called Cloud Fondue Films that is based in Kolkata, India.
