Our theme this year is 'MANA: every little action counts' - addressing subject of climate change.

We are looking for films that address this theme, in particular climate change.
We welcome shorts from the Pacific but also the rest of the world.

The Mahina Short Film Festival will run as part of Mahina 2016, Tonga's premier arts festival, run by On The SPOT art collective. Traditional and modern Tongan and Pacific dance, fine art, carving, weaving, fashion, short film, comedy improv and open mic.

First prize is to participate. There may even be some cash or in-kind prizes!

Shorts should be no longer than 12 minutes.

Shorts MUST address the theme of "Mana" (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mana), climate change to qualify.

PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR FILM IF IT IS NOT ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE OR 'MANA'.

Language: Films with dialogue must be in English or Tongan or have subtitles in English or Tongan.

Deadline for submission is Halloween night Monday 31st October!
