Director Statement

Magnus Rex is a story inspired by a simple notion -- a fear of disappointing the ones we love. This film was made by an incredibly dedicated team hailing from various backgrounds. We were brought together by a mutual love of filmmaking, but we bonded over a passionate belief in the emotional truth of this story. I sincerely hope Magnus Rex will entertain and, perhaps, inspire the audience in the same way it has inspired us to make it. Thank you.
