I read an article in Highlands Magazine about Dave Bassage while on vacation in West Virginia. Dave professional approach about his passion for rafting was appealing for me. In his extensive work on environmental issues protecting West Virginia's rivers, Dave is clear about his belief in consensus based progress in working to repair environmental damage to these waterways. I knew after reading this article, Dave would be an outstanding subject to follow around with the camera.
