A. M. Nedilenka is a multidisciplinary artist, based in Tkaronto. They mainly focus on themes and subjects based on their lived experiences with addiction, recovery, poverty, and spirituality. Nedilenka's studio practice is a combination of experimental film, animation, painting, and ink drawing. Often inspired by folklore, mythology, religious histories, and science fiction, their work engages with fictional narratives to create reflections of a relatable cultural and social one.
Nedilenka studies integrated media, film, and animation at OCAD University (2023), and is currently working on an animated short titled, The Grass Is Always Greener. Recent animated works they have produced and animated include Wild World (2023), Nine (2021), and Fragility (2019). Nedilenka has exhibited throughout Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and Ontario and has completed numerous commissioned works for commercial, private and public sectors.
