Film breathes life into the unknown.
At 24 years old with no film background, Mae Breazeale moved from Northern California down to Southern California to pursue her lifelong dream of working in the film industry. Taking on set jobs in her first year and learning as she went, Mae is now an established filmmaker on the rise. Her passion to give a voice to stories that are not normally told lead her to write and direct her very first short film "Ráoshù," which translates to "forgiveness" in Mandarin. She seeks to break the barriers in the industry for her culture and bring the AAPI community front and center in her films. Mae is currently working on an unscripted series revolving around music and human connection.
