MYth

A dreamscape woven from light, shadow, and whispered echoes of the soul, MYth is an experimental poetic film that traces the spiritual journey of a human being dissolving into the fabric of the universe. Through fragmented memories, surreal landscapes, and ethereal soundscapes, the film deconstructs the self—peeling away layers of identity, history, and desire—to reveal an intimate dialogue between the finite and the infinite.

Guided by shifting visions of the elements—water, fire, air, earth— and cosmic voidsthe audience embarks on a cyclical spiritual journey through nine chapters: emergence, detachment, grounding, dream, awareness, dissonance, unity, doubt, and faith. The boundaries between body and soul blur as voices from forgotten realms sing poetic fragments of longing and liberation. Time fractures; only sensations remain.

As the journey unfolds, the film invites the viewer to dissolve their own contours, slipping into the in-between spaces of existence where past and future collapse into a single breath. In this hypnotic meditation on being and beyond-being, MYth does not seek answers but instead opens a threshold to a deeper, wordless knowing.

Director Statement

The artist has always been intrigued by the constrained lives and crises that individuals experience in today’s prestructured realities. In a society governed by a patriarchal social order, the suppressed—namely women and individuals of diverse gender identities—struggle to voice their social outcries. For them, self-expression becomes both a means of purification and a reflection of their inner world. Acknowledging reality, the artist believes it is crucial to expose what is known yet deliberately ignored. Within this framework, she seeks to embody the emotions internalized in daily life, offering a perspective that also mirrors broader views on existence.

Employing an interdisciplinary approach that integrates 3D and 2D drawing, video, photography, motion graphics, and generative art—alongside cutting-edge fields such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the metaverse—she aims to convey the inherent multidimensional nature of humanity. Her work serves as a mirror, revealing the unspoken burdens stored in the deepest recesses of the mind. She believes in the importance of visualizing and materializing internal energies through abstract forms.

In her explorations of gender and identity, she delves into the representation of feminist art while simultaneously shedding light on the inner voices that guide humanity's evolutionary journey and search for purpose in this world.

As David Lynch once stated, there exists a vast ocean of happiness and consciousness that individuals can access by diving deep within themselves. To the artist, this ocean represents the ultimate source of purification.
