MYSTERIOUS CRUSH

At a distance along his way back from his poultry farm, Jordan notices a rape incident and he courageously intervenes. He succeeds rescuing the victim Mercy before the rape.
Because of his unmatchable kindness, Mercy mysteriously crushes on him and eventually they date.
However, because of their abrupt relationship, Jordan gets an idea to test Mercy about her confidence before confirming her for marriage. He does this through her best friend Becky but they all surprisingly escape the test.

Director Biography - NAVIDEN SSEKABIRA

NAVIDEN SSEKABIRA is an upcoming filmmaker based in MASAKA DISTRICT of UGANDA, EASTAFRICA. Since 2011 to date, he has worked as an actor for SKY ENTERTAINERS UGANDA; a theatre company in his vicinity.
Throughout his journey; because of being learning oriented, he has attended several film writing workshops from which he got highly motivated to practice what he learned. And because of his determination for implementation, he has written several titles but always production has been hindered by finances and some other inevitable factors until in the year 2023 when he succeeded with producing MYSTERIOUS CRUSH (a short movie), his first project in life to be produced.
He dreams to be marked as one of the global good movie content creators and is currently building his career of work as a writer and director.

Director Statement

The decision to direct this movie was a very challenging task to me because it was the first attempt in life; but the determination and love I had kept me focused until completion.
Of course, some challenges were encountered during the production stage but because of the determination exhibited by the entire team, the task was finally a success.
To me, this task was a very motivating new challenge that encouraged me to worker harder towards achieving my career dream as a director
