MUSE

A girl found out there is a painter; if you draw a portrait from her, you will never age again in real life. Your beauty will not change over time. But the girl did know very little that the cost of her portrait would be much higher.

Because the only way you can stop something is by stopping time. The only way the youth of the girl could stay the same is by stopping the time for her. Which is why, at the end, she could not move because time had become still for her.

Director Statement

"In the hands of the creator, the canvas becomes a symphony of disorder."

This was a groundbreaking experience for me, as it marked the first time I had the opportunity to work with a camera. We didn’t have directors of photography, so achieving the framing and visual composition in the very limited time frame I envisioned was challenging yet enlightening.

We had a constraint of shooting only for 4 hours at night, and I discovered the substantial amount of time required to prepare for just one shot. This was an unforeseen circumstance and a valuable learning moment for me!
