Melanie Sovran Wolfe was born in Kansas City, MO, and raised in Oklahoma. Author of The Last Life of Emma Taylor, Land of Tornadoes, Ashes at Woodstock, and Living with John Wayne, and author of eight screenplays. She lives a quiet life on the coast of Maine with her husband, kids, sixteen chickens, and four cats.
