Gaurav Wakankar is an animator and illustrator from India. Having co founded Ghost animation collective with his college buddies, he wants to bring animation as a medium of storytelling to its full potential in his country.

Director Statement

I have always loved films and the way compelling stories are told in short format cinema. With Mother, I experimented and tried to push the boundaries of compact stories and smaller production pipelines. Mother was a fruit of a very efficient teamwork and 4 months of tight timeline.
