Director Statement

From past few years in India, mental health and sexual offense has been a pressing issue and so while writing the script and screenplay for MOKSH, I had a clear vision as to what perspective to present our audience with. Moksh is surely going to turn heads with its griping story/character built up and apt screenplay along with suitable treatment. The main purpose of MOKSH is to let people dive into the situations that the characters in the film are going through and give them a new outlook or rather a new perspective towards the same. I hope MOKSH will do justice towards the idea of mental health and sexual offense.

In the end I would like to present a poem which is relatable with the theme of 'MOKSH'.

A Lost Boy.

A boy once lost,
Has found his way.
He was home,
But still a stray.

Shadows he savoured,
Never the light of day.
He yearned for inner peace,
But did he say.

He was a lonely needle,
In a stack of hay.
Desperate to be found,
All he could do is pray.

To captain a sinking ship,
He did all he may.
In a treacherous world of scavengers,
He was everything but a prey!

Thank you.
