CONTENT
CONTENT is a live music AR/VR concert and immersive cinema piece, which uses immersive technology to augment a live performance, as a collective experience that exists on the boundaries between the real and the virtual. CONTENT is created by the Miro Shot Collective.
The Miro Shot Collective was created to support artists, showcase their work and promote collaboration between its members. So far we have worked on everything, from film scores to fashion shows, installations to illustrations. The Collective collaborated to create the Miro Shot videos for ‘Leaders In A Long Lost World’ and ‘Boston Dynamic’.

Previous to starting Miro Shot in 2017, Roman directed award-winning short films, released and toured two full-length albums with his band Breton, as well as creating immersive cinema experiences which toured from the BFI London to the ACMI Australia.
Our VR experience is called CONTENT and exists at the crossroads of live performance, immersive cinema and procedurally generated interactive gaming.
A seated VR/AR experience with live musicians and actors, the narrative led performance takes the audience between the real and the virtual, forcing them to question the notion of reality itself.
Our story is set in the near future, where our central character (played by world-renowned actor Erik Todd Dellums) reflects on his earliest childhood memories, and his eventual journey to become a “World Builder”- the designer of the very same digital landscapes the audience is taken through.
By employing Brechtian distancing techniques and borrowing from the French Nouvelle Vague’s ideas on reality and the role of the audience, the experience is a glimpse at the future of narrative-led technology and breaking through the digital fourth wall of storytelling.
The show has toured internationally and will be playing a residency at La Cinematheque Francaise later this year.
