MIMI & LISA Christmas Lights Mystery

Mimi sees the world with her hands and ears. She is blind. Together with her best friend Líza, they have visited many fantastic worlds of fun and mystery. Christmas is finally coming. Mimi, Líza and their neighbours decorate a beautiful magnificent tree. However, the bulbs won’t light up. Where did the magic Christmas light disappear? The answer is hidden in the times when their neighbours were still small children. Mimi and Líza set out on an adventurous journey to bring the charming Christmas light back.

Director Biography - Katarína Kerekesová, Ivana Šebestová

KATARÍNA KEREKESOVÁ
(1974, Žilina, Slovakia)

Katarína Kerekesová graduated at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Animation Department and subsequently she had continued with postgraduate studies finished in 2007. After studies she established her own company Fool Moon focused on production of animated films and produced and directed animation musical STONES, TV series MIMI & LISA and actually 3D animated series THE WEBSTERS. Last year she produced also short film of Ivana Šebestová YELLOW. As a chairwoman she represents Slovak Association of Animated Film Producers and acts as external teacher at Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
