MICTLAN

El Día de Los Muertos an ancient Mexican tradition/celebration in which families reconnect with departed ancestors, provides a special opportunity to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of those who have moved ahead into the sacred lands of MICTLÁN, the realm of “fleshless” or the dead.

This collaborative project was not only a way to represent our culture, but a way to honor our loved ones who have already embarked on their journey to Mictlan.
