Fiction productions may be registered in the following categories:
International feature film (over 30 minutes)
International short film (under 30 minutes)
Aimed at productions not made in Mexico or Latin America, or that its director does not have Mexican or Latin American nationality. If it is a footage with a language other than Spanish, it must include Spanish subtitles.
Latin American Feature Film (over 30 minutes)
Latin American short film (under 30 minutes)
Aimed at productions made or whose director has the nationality of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic , Uruguay, Venezuela. If it is a footage with a language other than Spanish, it must include Spanish subtitles.

Aimed at productions whose audience is children and / or family, from any country, not made in Mexico or Latin America. Regardless of the place of production or the nationality of the director. The footage must be spoken in Spanish or not have dialogues.

Guidelines:
1. The exhibition will be held from March 17 to 26, 2023, in Hueyotlipan, and other places within the state of Tlaxcala.
2. Registration costs can be found on the Filmfreeway website
3. The registration date will remain open until December 30, 2022, there will be no extension for registrations outside these dates.
4. The works must have been completed after January 2020.
5. The works may be of any genre within fiction, commercials, video dance, video clips, reports or documentaries will not be accepted.
6. All registered works will be viewed by the specialized selection and programming committee of MIC HUEYO, their decision will be final.
7. The owner must have all the rights of use and exploitation of the registered work. In case of legal problems related to the productions, MIC HUEYO will disclaim any responsibility and said work will be excluded from the exhibition.
8. The registered and selected works will be part of the collection of the exhibition and may be part of projections in various circuits whose activities are non-profit and completely free, all with the prior authorization of the director.
9. The owners of the selected works will be notified of their participation in the exhibition on January 18, 2023 and will have until January 30 to provide the following materials to the exhibition:
- Official Poster in .jpg or .png and .pdf formats in high resolution (300 DPI)
- From 6 to 10 stills of the work in .jpg or .png formats in high resolution (300 DPI)
- From 2 to 5 photographs of the filmmaker in .jpg or .png formats in high resolution (300 DPI)
- Technical file with a synopsis of a maximum of 300 characters.
- Trailer or teaser of the work (optional for short films)
- Filmography of the director
- Contact directory of the director and/or producer and website or official social networks of the work.
- Any extra diffusion and press material that the feature film has.
- A link to download the feature film or short film in high resolution 1920x1080px H.264 format, if it is a film with a language other than Spanish, it must include Spanish subtitles in .srt format
10. MIC HUEYO is authorized to use the images, trailer or teaser and up to a maximum of 3 minutes for short films and 7 minutes for feature films to be used in exclusive advertising, dissemination and communication materials for the festival.
11. If a film with dialogues in a language other than Spanish that does not have subtitles is selected, MIC HUEYO will offer the possibility of translating it from English to Spanish, through a third party, at an additional cost, depending on the amount of lines. To consult costs, you must send an email to contacto@michueyo.com with the file in .srt format.
Failure to have Spanish subtitles will result in the disqualification of your footage.
12. Signing up for the show means reading and accepting all the bases mentioned above.

Cortometraje Nacional y Latinoamericano (menor a 30 minutos)
Dirigido a producciones cuyo público sea infantil y/o familiar, realizadas en México o Latinoamérica. Sin importar el lugar de producción o la nacionalidad del realizador. Los metrajes deberán ser hablados al español o no tener diálogos.
Lineamientos:
1. La muestra se realizará del 17 al 26 de marzo de 2023, en Hueyotlipan, y otros lugares dentro del estado de Tlaxcala.
2. Los costos de las inscripciones podrán consultarse en la página web Filmfreeway
3. La fecha de inscripción quedará abierta hasta el 30 de diciembre de 2022, no habrá prórroga para inscripciones fuera de estas fechas.
4. Las obras deberán haber sido concluidas después de enero del 2020.
5. Las obras podrán ser de cualquier género dentro de la ficción, no se aceptarán comerciales, video danza, video clips, reportajes o documentales.
6. Todas las obras inscritas serán visualizadas por el comité especializado de selección y programación de MIC HUEYO, su decisión será inapelable.
7. El titular deberá contar con todos los derechos de uso y explotación de la obra inscrita. En caso de problemas legales referidos a las producciones, MIC HUEYO se deslindará de cualquier responsabilidad y dicha obra será excluida de la muestra.
8. Los trabajos inscritos y seleccionados formarán parte del acervo de la muestra y podrán formar parte de proyecciones en diversos circuitos cuyas actividades sean sin fines de lucro y completamente gratuitas, todo esto con previa autorización del realizador.
9. Los titulares de las obras seleccionadas serán notificados de su participación en la muestra el día 18 de enero de 2023 y tendrán como plazo hasta el 30 de enero para proporcionar a la muestra los siguientes materiales:
- Cartel Oficial en formatos .jpg o .png y .pdf en alta resolución (300 DPI)
- De 6 a 10 stills de la obra en formatos .jpg o .png en alta resolución (300 DPI)
- De 2 a 5 fotografías del realizador en formatos .jpg o .png en alta resolución (300 DPI)
- Ficha técnica con sinopsis de máximo 300 caracteres.
- Trailer o teaser de la obra (opcional para cortometrajes)
- Filmografía del realizador
- Directorio de contacto del realizador y/o productor y pagina web o redes sociales oficiales de la obra.
- Cualquier material extra de difusión y prensa con el que cuente el largometraje.
- Un enlace de descarga del largometraje o cortometraje en alta resolución 1920x1080px formato H.264, en caso de ser un metraje con idioma distinto al español deberá incluir subtítulos al español en formato .srt
10. Se autoriza a MIC HUEYO la utilización de las imágenes, trailer o teaser y hasta un máximo de 3 minutos para cortometrajes y 7 minutos para largometraje para ser usado en materiales de publicidad, difusión y comunicación exclusivos del festival.
11. Si un metraje con diálogos en un idioma distinto al español que no cuente con subtítulos queda seleccionado, MIC HUEYO ofrecerá la posibilidad de realizar la traducción del inglés al español, por medio de un tercero, con un costo adicional, dependiendo de la cantidad de líneas. Para consultar costos deberán enviar un correo electrónico a contacto@michueyo.com con el archivo en formato .srt.
El no contar con los subtítulos al español será acreedor a la descalificación de su metraje.
12. El inscribirse a la muestra significa la lectura y aceptación de todas las bases antes mencionadas.
