The Mental Health Film Festival Short Film Youth Competition is back for its fourth year! By harnessing this powerful medium, we want to continue creating more avenues for our youth filmmakers to advocate for mental health/dementia issues.

Mental Health Film Festival Singapore Limited (MHFFS) is a Singapore-based charity and registered non-profit organisation.

MHFFS's vision is to provide an inclusive and safe platform for stories about recovery and resilience.

Audience Choice Award: S$500

The 2023 Short Film Yout Competition finalist films will have a chance to be screened at the next Mental Health Film Festival Singapore in November 2023.

1) Be between the ages of 15 — 35 years old

2) Be a 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 at time of submission

3) Your short film should be relevant to at least one of the themes for this year's competition:
- Resilience and Recovery
- Suicide Prevention
- Workplace mental health
- Coping through Creative expressions

4) The maximum length of short films should be no longer than 15 mins (including opening and closing credits)

5) Submit in either the 'Youth Showcase' or 'Open Competition' Category

6) Early Submissions by 7 July 2023, FInal Submissions by 31 July 2023
