Hi there! It’s me, Tristin. Since 2021, I have created five short films ranging from comedy to drama to horror. And four of them have gone on to win awards at various film festivals. I have worked with a like-minded team of students, teachers and producers to make creative films, with the larger goals of getting into a top college program for film and television and growing a viable independent film career to expand throughout high school and college.
In this film, a teenage girl named Kathy refuses to believe that her boyfriend, Jeffrey, may be a werewolf. Her best friend, Julie, repeatedly tries to warn Kathy based on rumors she's heard about other potential victims. This disagreement ends their friendship, leaving Kathy vulnerable to becoming a werewolf victim herself.
This film serves as an allegory for sexual coercion and assault, and illustrates the ways in which bad behavior is protected by societal norms. The characters in this story are more obsessed with their social status and social media than they are about standing up to injustice.
