Through the sound of the gong a passage opens, the woman crosses it and transcends her individuality by participating in the rhythms of the universe.
The Fertilthe Energy that takes possession of her frees her from the bonds with the body.
The Movement returns primitive.
The gesture, the origin of language, becomes dance.
The activation of the hand as a sign awakening. The goal is also the point of arrival, as well as the origin and closure of the circle.

Director Biography - Paola Lesina, Marco Rezoagli

Paola Lesina vive e lavora a Torino, studia design a Milano e performance art ad Oslo. Si occupa principalmente di arte visiva spaziando dalla performance all’illustrazione.
Sperimenta nel campo del suono e del teatro collaborando con radio locali e con laboratorio Zanzara, un collettivo artistico che opera con persone diversamente abili.
Al momento la sua ricerca è focalizzata sul movimento e le sue possibilità in ambito pedagogico, formandosi presso le lavanderie a vapore in Danza per La Comunità.

Director Statement

Marco Rezoagli è un artista, regista, montatore cinematografico.
Laureato in Design al Politecnico di Torino, si specializza in video documentari e performino arts.
È fondatore del collettivo artistico CO.H con cui realizza spettacoli dentro le automobili parcheggiate nei quartieri di Torino.
Nel 2014 firma il montaggio del film "Smokings" vincitore del Festival dei Popoli come Miglior Film Italiano.
È tra gli artisti curatori della Cavallerizza Reale di Torino e tra gli ideatori di “HERE”, la mostra d’arte pirata con 200 artisti. Nel 2015 cura il progetto Jesus in Turin, con incursioni ad Artissima e alla Biennale di Venezia.
