MD. Sakib Hossain is a creative and performance-driven independent filmmaker with an excellent eye for detail. He has a deep passion for filmmaking and tend to tell the stories that deals with interpersonal or societal complexions. His first experimental short film “Night Alone (2020)” was screened in a handful of national and international film festivals including 14th International Children Film festival, Jordan International Film festival 2020, 10 minute short film festival 2020. His another experimental one minute short "Type! (2022)" is also screened and won awards in several international festivals. He is currently studying in the Film department of Jagannath University and an active film activist working with International Short Film Forum, Doclab, Rainbow film society and Jagannath University Film Society. In mainstream industry he worked as an assistant director in several Web series and television commercials with renowned productions companies. He also worked in several renowned feature films from Bangladesh being in different different positions. He also worked in an Italian TV channel based docufilm named "El Dorado" as an Executive Producer. Currently he is working in a Digital marketing agency named "Le Point Digital" as their Senior Executive Officer.
