Tia-Marie is a 1st time producer and director for the Moon Dance Music Video Project. She studied cinematography in undergrad as well as film composition in graduate school. She has a focus on spreading the power of prayer and spirit through song, dance, and photography. The project she was producing would have consisted of 9 music videos sharing the power of these songs, however, this was cut short when the co-producer and artist, Marisa Reyes, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, later passing away in 2023 before the project was completed. Through the sharing of the music and videos created before her passing, the Miquiztochtli Spirit through which all of it was born stays alive.
I find my passion in film and music when I can appropriately give feelings and understanding to what is being shown. There exists a spirit within everything and when you have a chance to capture it and show it as is, it becomes meaningful and sacred, living beyond time.
