Director Biography - Abhijith Marathakam

Born in Thrikkunnapuzha , a village near Aleppey in Kerala , was introduced to movies and film culture from a young age by his brother Dr Akash Marathakam- who is a writer and a Professor in Pharmacological studies. Raised in a middle class family , Abhijith pursued Engineering and started off a career in IT industry. But the omnipresent passion for films and film-making never subdued inside him. With the help and support from his IT colleagues he made his debut short film 'The Ceaseless Monsoon' in 2013. The work was inspired from a blog by his cousin sister Drishya Subash. Afterwards he started on doing films in parallel with his career in IT. He , along with his brother founded the MB Film Company and is pursuing their passion for films.

Director Statement

This video was made as a message to public. In here , my place Kerala, its a common sight that responsible individuals like us are really irresponsible when it comes to keeping the city , the home we live in , clean. As a support to the Government of Kerala initiative to enforce the habit of public cleanliness; we have produced this short cute video.The video was recognized by the Minister of Kerala and was shared by him on his own Facebook page supporting our initiative.Hope you all like it .
