MAYNA
MAYNA, a TV series with an openly offbeat humor, takes place in the Algerian Sahara and tells the unlikely adventures of KREEMOO and H’MEE H’MEE, the former, running a bankrupt motel and a gas station operation and the latter owning an oasis. Both ruthlessly ready to do anything to get rich, they awkwardly embark on a dubious business of animal trafficking.
Also happening to present in the region, scientific researchers investigate the mysterious disappearance of wild animals, without suspecting that to solve such mystery they will have to team up with Inspector AMEEMER, whose simplistic reasoning and obsession with his dog, bring every situation to crisp hilarity.

"I have always dreamed of shooting a movie in the desert, and finally my dream came true in shooting “Mayna”, a very interesting comedy drama TV series, produced by Atyaf Production, and it was more than just a mere TV series. This project brought to fruition was one of my personal missions, aimed at taking further the noble cause of endangered animal species preservation in our contemporary world.''
