Luna in Caelo - Fear to Die

During 2020, on the 20th anniversary of the edition of "Miedo a Morir" (Fear to Die), the second album by the chilean band Luna in Caelo, the health emergency caused by COVID-19 is unleashed in Chile. Daniel Dávila, guitarist and audiovisual producer, decides to resignify the title of the album, based on the experience of long months of confinement and anguish, making experimental films during his quarantine, and creating a visual interpretation for music with an atmospheric and cinematic vocation.

Director Statement

During the years, Luna In Caelo music's has been mixed with images in several ways, concert posters, back projection in live events, and some experimental video clips, so it seemed natural to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our second record through a visual approach. This idea was "forced" due the outbreak of Corona Virus pandemic in Chile in 2020 and its subsequent lockdown at home during several months. The record title "Fear to Die" got a new and immediate meaning, expanding the concept and feelings of the music made two decades ago.
