The 5th annual Luminescence Teen Film Festival is a short film festival from the Palo Alto Teen Arts Council.
As filmmakers and artists ourselves, we recognize that there's no better feeling than seeing your hard work on display on the big screen, in front of a supportive audience. Our festival aims to provide that experience for teens in and around the Bay Area.
Additionally, we want to give the community an opportunity to experience the immense talent, creativity, and hard work of teen filmmakers.

To participate in Luminescence Film Festival, YOU MUST BE IN THE AGE RANGE OF 12-19. All genres of film are accepted. Run time of film MUST BE LESS THAN 15 minutes. All films that do not meet these criteria WILL be disqualified and will not be judged. If you feel your film has been disqualified unfairly, contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submission is free before February 9th, after which a $3 fee will be charged. If you are unable to pay this fee for any reason, please contact us to apply for a fee waiver.
To submit your film, send a link of the video either from Youtube or Vimeo. If your video is accepted, you must submit your film through a mailed flash drive, downloadable link, or any other hard copy version of the film. Your film, if accepted, has the ability to be in a trailer for the festival. If it is, Luminescence maintains all rights to use them in a trailer or promotion.
