Wildlife Filmmaker and Honorary Member of the Portuguese Order of Biologists since March 2015.

Graduated in Communication Sciences, he works as a journalist-writer, author, presenter and director of wildlife documentaries and major wildlife reports at Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (Portuguese television public service broadcaster-RTP). For over two decades, he has dedicated special attention to areas related to Natural History, the Environment and wildlife.

Author and presenter of the first programme/series in the history of portuguese television, produced nationally and with continuity, dedicated to wildlife: "Animal Life in Portugal and in the World".

After a 20 year carrear in journalism connected with nature and science, since 2013, he decided to dedicate himself exclusively to the production and direction of documentaries and major reports about wildlife. Lecturer, researcher, naturalist and author of a scientific and academic study, unprecedented in Portugal (soon to be released in book form) prepared over two years, entitled: "Wildlife in Documentary - Field Techniques and Strategies". A module that has been presented at several academic events and events related to the promotion of nature and wildlife.
