Lucas is a 28-year-old filmmaker, and dual citizen of Argentina and the United States. He lives in Chicago, where he works at VML as a Senior Art Director. In addition to making movies, Lucas is an editor of Wikipedia and an artist. His favorite directors are Buster Keaton, Mel Brooks, Michel Gondry, Stanley Kramer, and Stanley Kubrick.

Lucas is the co-founder of Palmyra Pictures, an independent production company in Chicago, and is currently producing a documentary entitled The Crappening, about the Dave Matthews Band Chicago River incident.
