Luca Pietro Beuthan, born in 1997, grew up in Italy, Germany, and Greece.

He worked as a camera assistant for multiple productions, around the world, until he began to write, direct, and produce his short films in 2019.
"Umbra", his first short film, won a few awards and through that, he was able to get more work as a commercial director.

He currently works as a writer and film director in Tokyo, Japan.
His first feature film, by the title "Greasepaint" is set to start shooting in March 2024.
