Luca Lopriore is an emerging Director and screenwriter from Lynn, Massachusetts, currently based in Long Island and attending Hofstra University for film. Luca’s passion for film began in childhood, when growing up in a strict household made movies his window to the outside world—and eventually, his reason to tell stories of his own.

In 2024, his short film Items, was selected for the All American High School Film Festival, one of the largest student film festivals in the world. Known for blending grounded emotion with visual storytelling, Luca often works in small, intimate settings—whether behind the camera or in the editing room—to create films that feel personal, atmospheric, and emotionally resonant.

Outside of narrative work, Luca has also created video and photo content for many college sports teams, developing his eye for real-time storytelling and visual rhythm. He is currently developing a new short film.
