Loving Fear
Loving Fear is one of Jade Baker's first musical short films, where she directs, produces and also acts as a main star, named Fear. At some point Fear & Love, the main principle actor, Sahara Lewis, dances battle with each other to conquer the triggers and internal wars many black women suffer from. The two main stars get a chance to see if love truly conquers all on the dancefloor of life. In this visual musical film, Sahara's character, Love, clearly faces the shadow elements that lie within us all and with Fear, Jade and they together argue over the black woman's self hated inner world. Seeing their reflection in one another as "black" women, reveals their separate but similar pain and trauma, living in America. This truly scares them both but eventually the two find harmony and realize in order to stop these internal wars, they must integrate their light and dark side to conquer within themselves whatever they are afraid of.

JAD3Y B is an international spiritual artist from East Atlanta, who escaped a toxic family dynamic, tumultuous times and poverty, through enrolling into college in CT, where she studied film. There she became a director/producer, where she brought all her songs, she wrote from age 9 and other worldly beats, she produced along her journey. Once in college, she produced abstract psychological, suspenseful type shortfilms to go along with her music. After traveling overseas aboard to FAMU International Film School and getting a chance to create a thesis film on 16mm and exploring the world. Jade returned as a brand new person completely comprehending her childhood trauma via intense therapy sessions, tarot and yoga classes. This led her to awaken to why she was chastised so early on for her god-given gifts. Eventually she published her first visual album called, Path to Self Love and now she is ready to go full throttle with sharing all her unique ideas with the film industry. She recently graduated from a small film producing certification program via GSU Cinema Department and ATL Film Society and is now ready for the big screen.
I always said since I was a kid, I would never let anyone get in my way...... not even myself.
