Cristol Johnson, Distinguished Toastmaster is the past District Director for District 18 Toastmasters which serves the Delaware Maryland Eastern Shore (Delmarva Peninsula), Baltimore MD, Annapolis MD, and a Small part of West Virginia (Harpers Ferry) and Pennsylvania. She has held every Toastmasters club office at least once and was Area 16 Governor in Division A. While serving as District Director (Mayor) during the 2020-2021 Toastmasters year, she saw how many lives were impacted positively by Toastmasters especially during the tumultuous beginning stages of the pandemic. Cristol Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Delaware, a Masters’ Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership from Wilmington University and has won Toastmasters Excellence in Program Quality Award for 2019-2020. She has given professional talks to corporations and has volunteered to be a speaking coach to Special Olympics Delaware athletes for 5 years. She has recently tried her hand at stand-up comedy by graduating from Helium Philadelphia’s comedy academy in December of 2021. Her daytime activities in addition to writing include working full time in the Fraud Prevention department of a large financial institution, and selling jewelry on Amazon Handmade’s platform. Since becoming a Toastmaster in 2008, she has learned to successfully communicate her ideas on various platforms.
