Director Biography - Nicholas Swatz

NICHOLAS SWATZ is the founder of Baby Pomegranate Productions. He is an award-winning filmmaker from Chicago who tells stories rooted in “creative fury”. He’s a director, cinematographer, editor, FAA certified drone artist, gimbal operator, nature lover and sass master.

Nicholas’s first job was in the film industry… as an employee at Blockbuster Video. After graduating with a BA in Cinema Studies from Oakland University, Nicholas made a long time dream come true by moving to the Windy City to pursue his career in independent cinema.

Nicholas strives to make the world a better place by embodying the ever-present message: tell stories that matter.
