Love Me Quixotic

Alone and estranged in a new country, an ex-diplomat, known only as Hood, starts a relationship with a leading member of an unnamed Freedom Fighting organisation. She is known only as Mayo. As the pair get closer, he strives for membership of the organisation and to put his idle hands to use. However, when they advise her to keep her distance whilst they carry out routine background checks on Hood, he enters toxic, self analytical spirals with sinister bouts of paranoia. Two young, idealistic teenage tearaways who the group use as runners for their deeds, also become entwined in Hood and Mayo’s deadly lack of communication.

Director Statement

Some real commitment from all 4 members of this intimate cast really made this picture what it is. Some really solid research and beautiful portrayals of the human condition by the cast is what made this picture such a pleasure for me to work on and direct.
