Director Biography - Emelie Eckerud

Emelie Eckerud is a recent Visual Anthropology Graduate (BA Hons) of Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a multidisciplinary artist born [1993] and raised in Linköping, Sweden, who is currently based in London.

Her work centres around identity, intimacy, memory and social sensibility. Experimenting with the genre of documentary filmmaking, she merges ethnography with poetry, symbolism and experimental soundscapes to create intimate portraits of our relationship with ourselves, each other and nature.
