Love Confession

The film pushes the boundaries of storytelling and explores the possibilities of minimal film production, using only a phone camera and an actor. It tells the story of a young woman who failed to confess her love when the timing was ideal, and now she must record her confession on her phone to send it to the intended recipient. But does she still have a chance to be heard?

Director Biography - Anna Filonenko

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna is a true citizen of the world. She holds a B.A. (hons) in Art History from New York University and has worked in various prestigious art institutions, including the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and The Armory Show.

Upon returning to Russia, she established the StandArt Foundation with the aim of promoting contemporary Russian art. It was during an artist interview project conducted by the foundation that Anna developed an interest in filmmaking. Subsequently, she enrolled in the renowned High Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors, the top filmmaking institution in Russia.

By the end of 2022, Anna made a decision to relocate to London in order to pursue career opportunities within a global context.
