Any genre is welcome, including documentary, drama, animation, music videos, video art and more as long as it is under 15 minutes and fits within the festival's theme of Love, Art and Revolution.

Imagine films about First Nations communities resisting resource extraction, climate change activists inspiring hope in the face of the climate crisis, campaigns for rent freezes and public housing to combat the cost of living crisis, activists building bridges with revolutionary movements in the Global South and more.

Each session will be co-hosted by grassroots community groups and include speakers, performers, food and drink.

28 Films will be selected to be screened at one of four sessions.

Each film receives a screening fee if selected of AUD$150.

There will also be a people's choice award voted for and awarded at each session valued at AUD $200.

  • They selected my work, asked me an invoice for the payment... that i sent the same day, and I never get the money. Sent many emails to the fest, no one answered. This is my experience, 150 AU dollars doesnt change my life, I was happy already to be selected, but see how they manage the fest is pretty sad, is the reason why filmmakers loose slowly interest in partecipate in events. Also, no signs on sites and socials about the winners, looks like they vanished in the air
