Stephanie Alexander is a graduate of Queen's University with a major in English and Drama. She is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada's three-year playwriting program, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Acting Program, and The Humber School for Writers where she obtained a master’s degree in Creative Writing.
Among her produced plays are: Hemlock (DuMaurier Theatre, Geordie Theatre, Factory Theatre), Me and the City Man (Tarragon Theatre) and Charters (aka The Humanitarian) which was produced at the Factory Theatre and partially developed at the Canadian Stage Company.
Stephanie has spent the last several years working on her screenwriting portfolio and has completed a spec script of Grey’s Anatomy, as well as four original scripts. She has written a dark comedy feature entitled Antilock, a light adventure romance feature entitled Lost in Italy, and two pilots. The first pilot is a drama thriller entitled Blanco, and the second is a single camera comedy entitled Apple, Tree.
