Lost & Found, NY (Episode 4)

An original web series about an immigrant actress navigating through life abroad, Lost & Found is a story about cultural identity and survival in the arts. The series is written and created by actor and filmmaker Vanina Kondova and co-directed by four-time Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Kalin Ivanov. The first season - Lost & Found, NY - was shot in New York with an international cast and crew from the US, Bulgaria, France, New Zealand, Canada, China, Italy, Greece, Serbia, and Poland. The series was selected by over 15 international film festivals and won two Best Series Awards. A second season ("Lost & Found Abroad") is currently in the works, taking the story from New York to London and Sofia.

Director Biography - Vanina Kondova, Kalin Ivanov

Vanina Kondova is an actor, writer, director, and producer. She has graduated from the National Theatre and Film Academy in Bulgaria (BFA in Theater Acting), as well as the Conservatory Program at Atlantic Acting School in New York, USA. Her theater, film and TV credits include Strawberries at the Datcha (MCC Theater), The Allegory of the Cave (TheaterLab), The Tenant (Woodshed Collective), A Dose of Happiness (No Blink), Father's Day (Bulgarian National Television) and Stolen Life (Nova TV), among others. Vanina was recently invited to join the Screen Actors Guild of America and is the recipient of a Best Actress Award from the National Theater and Film Academy in Bulgaria, Washington DC's Monologue Madness Sweet 16 Award, and the US Visa for Extraordinary Abilities in the Arts.

Kalin Ivanov is an award-winning cinematographer, director, producer, and photographer. Kalin is the recipient of 4 Emmy Awards for his work at the cultural magazine show Nueva York (CUNY TV) and the educational program Study With The Best (CUNY TV). His work was also distinguished with a Telly Award and several Communicator Awards. Kalin's photographs have been selected for various exhibitions (Soho 20, NY) and private collections. His 9/11 photographs were selected for the permanent exhibition of the 9/11 Memorial. Kalin is a member of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (USA). He has served as a judge at the Early Bird International Film Festival (Sofia 2015), at the EMMY awards (2016). Kalin holds a B.A. and M.F.A. in Cinematography (NATFA Sofia, Bulgaria) and M.F.A. in Television Production (Brooklyn College, New York).
