Lost In Translation: The Journey

Five interconnected music videos from Layal’s latest EP. Each video tells a piece of a larger, intricate story, and together they create a seamless and compelling narrative that loops back to the beginning, inviting viewers to experience the journey again and again.
This project is more than just a collection of music videos—it's a cinematic experience designed to captivate and engage audiences on multiple levels. Pedro & Layal have poured their hearts and souls into this work aiming to create a body of work that will resonate with the audience with the attempt of bringing back long form art.
Across a series of interconnected music videos, we follow Layal as she embarks on a transformative voyage. With each video installment, Layal's awareness of her inner power intensifies. Her growing self-confidence becomes a beacon guiding her through the maze of existence.

Central to this narrative is the metaphor of peeling away layers of one's identity. Layal courageously confronts new facets of herself, each concealing unique challenges and revelations. With each layer unveiled, a fresh perspective emerges, and she faces the world with a newfound strength and vulnerability.

Metaphors play a pivotal role in visual storytelling. Scenes are crafted to symbolise Layal's inner struggles and triumphs, seamlessly weaving the videos together. The visuals not only enhance the narrative but also provide a multi-dimensional experience for the audience, inviting them to interpret and connect with the story on a personal level.
