I was born and raised in a small town lost in the East Siberian taiga. In my student years, I suffered from acute movie addiction, which led me to a passion for filming and, especially, film editing.
When I was about 25 years old, I made a small home movie called "Proximity" about my grandmother. While watching it, two members of my family cried. After that incident, I made 4 or 5 short and medium-length films and left them "on the table", giving myself over to music writing for a few years.
When I passed the 30-year mark, I started a video blog on the Internet, for which I made and published more than fifty very small films that didn't become popular.
At the age of 34, I took "out of the table" the movie "Proximity", edited it considerably and sent it to the All-Russian festival of experimental cinema INSIDE. Some viewers liked this short film.
The following year I revived the rest of my old films in a similar way, made some more new ones.
I find non-fiction in life and turn it into fiction in movies.
