"Los Angeles" by Sonja Midtune (official music video)

Music video for artist Sonja Midtune's song titled "Los Angeles" off her new EP Dreams Melt Away. This video was shot at all of her favorite unique L.A. spots that she has discovered through the years living in L.A. "What starts as a love song quickly turns into an analogy about the relationship; pretty on the surface, but messy underneath, just like Los Angeles. It asks the question, ‘Are WE Los Angeles?’ and ends with her accepting L.A. as her home, but wow, I am lost here."

This music video set out to showcase the artist's favorite areas of Los Angeles as she sings about the relationship with her significant other and the city itself. I aimed to capture intimate moments of the artist in some her favorite unique L.A. spots. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, it was difficult to arrange a team safely for this music video so I thought the two of us could get it done! It was a fun shoot that had us two roaming the city with smiles, masks between shots, moment gear and my iPhone.
