Looking forward to going home

In the thirtieth year of the Chinese New Year's Eve, my mother prepared the needs of her son who was about to return home from work in other places, hanging lanterns, cooking New Year's meals, steaming flower buns, and happily busy. After the son arrives home, he accompanies his mother to write blessing characters, cut window flowers, and make dumplings to welcome the arrival of the New Year together. In the happy atmosphere, the mother seemed to see her son's naughty appearance when he was a child. At dinner time, a New Year's call from her son brought her mother back to reality. This year, my son is busy with work and can't go home, so it turns out that everything is a mother's fantasy. After the call, the mother sighed, walked outside the door, and lit a lantern symbolizing reunion, hoping to leave a guide for the distant child to return home.
The mother looked into the distance, and the brilliant fireworks in the sky reflected the mother's face, and her eyes were full of thoughts about her son and expectations for reunion.
