Experiencing Interruptions?

Long faces

It's the story of a man who can't manage to cry at his mother's funeral—a paradox for this single father weighed down by modesty and others' judgments. Could it be out of a rejection of convention?
A bittersweet comedy about letting go.

Director Biography - Nicolas Galoux

Nico Galoux realized at a very young age that he would build a résumé shaped like a movie's end credits. Determined to make directing his profession, he joined IAD, one of the two prestigious film schools in Belgium. After initially studying in the Editing section, he felt increasingly drawn to the practical realities of working on film sets. Starting as a unit manager, he steadily climbed the ranks of assistant directing, serving for over 10 years as a first assistant director alongside Belgian and French directors. He then made the natural transition to his ultimate goal: directing.
Nico has honed the ability to unite the energy of a film crew around his passion, comedy. His strength as a director lies in his exceptional command of editing and aesthetics, which enables him to infuse all his advertising projects with the cinematic treatment of a fictional film.
By directing Têtes d’enterrement "Long faces", an ambitious and promising short film, Nico is gaining the experience and credibility needed to tackle his next challenge: a feature-length fiction film.
