Long Dark Road is incredibly personal to me, taking direct inspiration from real stories and experiences of my father Pat while he was on tour with bands in the late 80s.
My father is a very important role model in my life. He has always been very supportive of myself and my creative visions. He is where I learned storytelling from. This film pays homage to a real experience that changed the trajectory of my father's life and shaped him into the man I came to know.
This film is also the culmination of my filmmaking career at Cleveland State, and I’m proud to have brought some of my favorite filmmakers I’ve worked with together for this project.
