Locked In

Anik Nyein, born Lwin Maung Nyein to a poor family in the third world county, Myanmar as Buddhist Eurasian mix. He led a difficult childhood, bullied by both friend and family on his race, religion and financial situation. So, he turned to movies for his release, and quickly falls in love until his scholarship to pursue his dream in America. After his third year majoring in Cinematic Arts at CSU Monterey Bay, he returned back to Myanmar due to financial and family problem. Soon as he came back, Covid 19 was at large and he was left isolated in his house. After a year, when he tried to return back to making films, a coup was staged locking the whole country down. Now he writes in isolation.
