Born in Ukraine, Anastasia Ivaniuk graduated from the Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema, and Television University, specializing in non-fiction film direction. Her graduation project, the short fiction film “Liza and Her Anthill” (202й), marked her debut as a fiction director. The film has received numerous awards and honors, including the Special Award of the Social Jury at the Ukraina! Festiwal Filmowy in Poland (2021) and the Award for Best Student Film at the Bobritsa Film Festival in Ukraine (2022). It has been showcased at public screenings and festivals worldwide.
